Pan is the God of Nature and Merle's patron deity. He appears in the form of a satyr and is chill as Hell.
History[]
The Crystal Kingdom[]
During the Tres Horny Boys' confrontation with Hodge Podge, Merle casts Commune so he can ask for Pan's help in answering a particularly difficult question. Unfortunately, Merle wastes his three questions given to him by asking questions that are either unrelated to the situation at hand or that have already been asked. In the end, Pan bails on them so he can go tend to a pie he has baking in the oven.
Story and Song[]
In Episode 68, Merle is visited by Pan after Taako reconnects the planar system; prior to this, Pan had been trapped in the Celestial Plane by the Hunger. Pan says that since Merle is not from this world, he is not Merle's original Pan; however, to Pan, Merle will always be "his" Merle.
The Adventure Zone: Live in New Orleans[]
Pan attended Istus's rager. The next day, Tres Horny Boys find him hungover in a bush on Istus's lawn in the Celestial Plane. He accompanies Taako, Magnus, and Merle on their journey to find out what is causing the apocalypse (again).
He is briefly controlled by Edward and Lydia during their fight.
